A woman of the United Kingdom, is being sought by police on charges of assault after allegedly biting off the finger of a much younger woman, police in France said. Brest Police said that the incident unfolded in a bar on Saturday night. According to the police investigation, the two women reportedly got into a fight after the boyfriend of the suspect was touched by the victim.

Witnesses said that the 22-year-old victim touched the 38-year-old suspect’s boyfriend before she proceeded to bite off her finger. The victim was rushed to a hospital while police went to search for the woman’s finger. Despite the search, the victim’s finger was not found. The woman will undergo a transplant to replace the lost finger. Police are looking to arrest the suspect, but so far, she remains at large.
